Bandits Release 32 Bethel Baptist Students After Ransom Was Paid, 31 Still Held

 


Thirty-two of the remaining sixty-three abducted students of Bethel Baptist High school, Damishi, in Nigeria’s northern Kaduna state have been released from captivity.


The chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Kaduna state chapter, Joseph Hayab confirmed this to ARISE News.

He said the students were released Friday evening and have reunited with their parents.

An undisclosed sum of money was paid before their release. The remaining students still In captivity are now thirty-one.
